Sturfit is a charitable trust which manages Sturminster Newton Leisure Centre. A number of Groups, Clubs and Classes hire the premises. The gym is kitted out with the latest equipment, and we have equipment which has been adapted to allow people with physical disabilities to exercise. We also have a free weights area and other specialist pieces of equipment, so we are able to cater for most people’s needs. As well as the gym there is the Dance Studio and the flexibility of the Large Hall. The centre can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities, including but not restricted to meetings, small conferences, classes, clubs, arts and crafts, sports activities, dance classes, birthday parties, engagement parties, christening/communion receptions, slimming clubs and martial arts classes - get in touch for details.
