I have been childminding since 2002 and have brought up 3 children of my own, only 1 of which is still at home. I have a spacious house with a front garden and patio which wraps around the house. I like to spend as much time outside as possible (weather permitting) and I like to go for walks to the parks in Larksmead, Shillingstone (to the station) or Pimperne. I regularly attend toddler groups in local villages and Blandford. I work in conjunction with another childminder and we organise outings and joint activities. I enjoy many and varied art activities with my children like play doh, painting, sticking, junk modelling and any activities linked to various events throughout the year. I positively encourage as much communication as possible with my children particularly after this last year of isolation and actively support the development of social interactions with others children and with adults.
