Employ My Ability is a Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) provision which provides young people aged 16 to 25 with the practical opportunity to gain vocational skills and qualifications in a variety of real life working environments, leading to outcomes of gaining employment. Our unique environment hosts hospitality, horticultural and retail facilities set in a fully functioning garden centre with shop and cafe. We focus on vocational training, qualifications and life skills that enables person centred outcomes into local community based employment & progression routes. We offer supported work experience placements with external partners, support with entering the job market and the skills needed for adult life. Alongside this we offer an ongoing programme of support for employees and employers once work has been found. This will offer both parties assistance if any difficulties arise at the work place. Preparing for adulthood underpins the education provision.
