Libraries are free to join, free to use and you can renew and reserve items online at www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/libraries. Also available on our website, a 'Picture Journey' designed to show visitors what to expect when visiting Gillingham Library for the first time so they can familiarise themselves with the building. We also have an Autism Friendly room where you can discover useful resources and services, including books on autism. All children aged under 8 years must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
