Through this, the children gain independence, perseverance, resilience and confidence preparing them for the future. Experienced staff ensure the children make progress in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Visitors are welcome at any time.

We have a soft play area, a safe enclosed outside area and regular Forest School sessions on the adjoining school field. Children are able to borrow Rhyme Time bags every week. Provision has an inclusion / equal opportunities policy.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer

Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities

Our 2 SENCO's (Special Education Needs Co-ordinators) have attended SENCO training, Peic D (Promoting Early Interactive Conversation) and Sign-along speech and language training, updated regularly. Children with additional needs are supported in the setting by tailoring activities to their level of need. We make referrals to outside agencies ie. SALT (Speech and Language Therapy), Portage, health visitors, paediatricians etc. This is done with permission from parents.
