Mini Me's Childminding
I am an accredited childminder providing care for children aged from birth upwards. My aim is to provide a caring, warm and valued relationship with your child, to give him or her a feeling of security in my home and offer challenges in the sense of an educational setting, toys, meaningful projects and activities based both inside, in the garden and in the local community. Enabling your child to become a strong and independent personality filled with confidence to explore their own world. It is paramount that children who attend Mini Me’s feel happy, safe, valued and empowered as this will enable them to experience, explore, learn and discover confidently and independently. This is achieved through an enabling environment, tailored activities and most importantly through having fun and playing. I am also a Forest childcare practitioner and visit local forests and country parks daily with the children enabling them to learn to problem solve and develop a relationship with the outside.

- Registered Childminder - I completed my BA (HONS) Degree in Early Years and Childhood in June 2018. I am Paediatric First Aid trained, hold a Food hygiene certificate, as well as Safeguarding Children (Level 3) and ENCO (Equality Named Coordinator). I have completed EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) training & support children’s learning & development within the EYFS framework. I am able to offer free early years provision for eligible 2, 3 and 4 years olds at any time during my opening hours. I am an enabled childminder and SEND co-ordinator (Special Educational Needs & Disability).

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer
- Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities
As a childminder I attend regular Special Educational Needs and Disability training offered by Local Authority, and am therefore the SEND Coordinator for the setting. I have successfully supported children with Speech and Language needs in the past, but as of yet i have not been requested to support any other additional needs. The setting aims to provide all children with access to resources and is adapted to each child as they grow and develop, providing an enabling environment for children is paramount.
