Durlston Country Park

Durlston Country Park is situated in the south-east corner of the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, and is 320 acres of very special countryside. With hundreds of acres of wildflower meadows, sea cliffs, woodland, superb coastal walking and spectacular views. Another thing to see is Durlston Castle which features exhibitions, a cafe, shop and gallery and a Ranger is always on hand to help you get the most out of your day. A full programme of events, guided walks, boat trips, talks, children's events and other activities run throughout the year.

Family Explorer packs are available to hire from the Castle, every day throughout the year, the Woodland Explorer Rucksacks are jam-packed with fun activities for all the family, along the Woodland Trail. The bags are designed for families with children aged from 4 to 12 and take around 2 hours to complete. Visit website for further information. Toilets are located at the Castle and Learning Centre and include toilets for disabled visitors and nappy changing facilities.
