Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer

Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities
We currently have a child who needs speech and language intervention and another who has been referred to them, we are also in the process of referring to PORTAGE and this is done directly with the parents permission. As a setting we can refer to a Paediatrician, a health visitor, GP, Speech and Language, and Portage, this is done all direct via each organisations application process. We can complete ECHP's and help filling in forms for parents who need it and parents are always encouraged to come and discuss their child's needs and how the setting can help them. We are inclusive setting and welcome all children and if needed staff are willing to do training on any conditions or illness's that we do not currently have within the setting.
