Edmondsham Forest School - 'Adventure In The Woods'

Holiday sessions are available for children from 3 to 8 years of age and occasionally for older children from 8 to 11 years of age. We are open to all children, not just those who attend during the term time. “Adventure in the Woods” sessions are all day Forest School sessions that take place in the woods, with activities such as woodland walks, picnics, campfires, nature crafts, den building etc unless it would be dangerous to be outside e.g. strong winds. Forest School birthday parties also available. Please call or email for more details.

Wheelchair accessible
We do not exclude those with mobility difficulties but as our time is spent in the woods, it could present problems for both parent/carers and children in this category. A grassy track makes access to the woods possible with a 3 wheeler pushchair but then the terrain is very rough and problems may occur.
Parking availability information
There is a car park on the edge of the field that we cross to reach the Forest School. Much of the time it is possible to cross the field by car to reach the Forest School but this right is reserved for those with mobility difficulties.
Toilet facility information
We do not have a wheelchair accessible toilet in the woods but it would be possible to lift a young child into the toilet.
Other Facilities
The setting of the Forest School may present difficulties for those with limited mobility, but we try to cater for a range of disabilities.
