Nicky's Childminding
Hello, I am an OFSTED registered childminder in Wyke Regis in Weymouth. I offer a safe and friendly home with a dedicated indoor play room and secure garden where I will care for and nurture your child, as well as offering varied learning experiences. I have 16 years of early years experience, partly as a Teaching Assistant in a local school where I worked mostly in the Nursery, and believe in encouraging learning through play at your child’s own pace. Getting to know your child as an individual will enable me to provide activities which will help them to thrive. My aim is to offer your child a safe and happy place to grow, to support their development, teach them to be considerate of others and become independent and resilient. - Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities
- I am an inclusive setting and have completed Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) training. My indoor setting is all on one level but the outside area is not. Therefore access is not suitable for wheelchair users/children with mobility difficulties, neither are the toilet facilities. However, I am always happy to discuss individual children''s needs.
