Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens
One of Britain's best known and best loved gardens. A botanical treasure-trove, with charming walled garden walks and spectacular woodland valley views. Magnificent 20 acre garden filled with rare and exotic plants from all over the world. Noted in Dorset for its Rhododendron and Hydrangea collections and the charming Victorian Garden. Regular events take place at the Garden and can be found on our website. Facilities include the Colonial Restaurant, a quality gift shop and a superb plant centre where many of the flowers grown in the Garden can be purchased.

- The paths at the Gardens are gravel and some areas are very steep due to the natural topography. There is a recommended wheelchair route, 50% of the 30 acre garden is deemed to be accessible by wheelchair. Two manual wheelchairs are available free of charge at the main desk.

- Ample free parking for cars and coaches. Designated parking is available for disabled visitors in the first row of the main car park 50 metres from the Gardens entrance.

- Toilets are located for visitors with disabilities to the rear of the Gardens Restaurant at the entrance.
