The Little Learners Nursery
The Little Learners Nursery is a new family run nursery, situated at the rear of the St Leonards and St Ives village hall, in the Youth Club building. We have a safe and secure outdoor area which we share with the St Leonards Scout Group, also a big open area and play park within a couple of minutes’ walk (for little people). Our aim as a nursery is to make sure every child is made welcome, valued and kept safe. While we believe it is very important for the children to enjoy their learning. Our main focus is on the importance of the children''s social and emotional wellbeing and in the building of their confidence, as we feel that these qualities are the foundations that a child needs to help to progress to a successful and happy future.

- Additional Information
- We are a small nursery that likes to work on Personal, Social and Emotional as a priority, such as confidence, self awareness, being kind, caring and independence. These qualities are so important for a happy and secure child and then adult. We also have, 5 outdoor different areas that we use. We like to go on trips around our area learning road safety and also on a bus to the library. We have had a few different pets, including a hamster, ducks (that we hatched from eggs) and rabbits have visited. We like to keep our parents informed of the children activities by sharing photos in our private group. We sing for the older adults in our building and we have had a Christmas Nativity on stage. All of these things do not take away from our academic learning that we include every single day, with the children enjoying it so much that they hardly realise they are learning. Hours are flexible, also, start and finish times can be flexible. We also run a summer holiday club, for the children that attend the nursery.
