Beach Huts For Children With Disabilities (DPCC)

Dorset Parent Carer Council (DPCC) have 3 luxury beach huts available to hire for children with disabilities at Lyme Regis (Marine Parade), Weymouth beach and Knoll Beach (Studland). Our beach huts are larger than standard beach huts to accommodate wheelchairs and are fitted with ramps, locker space and changing benches. They have been set up to provide a discrete changing facility, a family base, a place to retreat for some quiet space or shelter from excess heat (or driving rain!). They are located close to toilets and cafe/refreshment venues, within yards of the beaches. At Lyme Regis there is even a beach wheelchair, free for you to use which can also be taken into the water. Enjoy the summer sunshine and have an enjoyable day out with somewhere relaxing to sit or retreat to for only £7 for the whole day.
