The Horse Course

The Horse Course is a leader in equine-assisted practice innovating and robustly testing our methods. We are supported by academics and evaluation experts. The horses are trained to give clear and unbiased feedback on mental and emotional self-control. Participants are coached to overcome frustration and failure by taking control over their thoughts and feelings. The horses provide both motivation and feedback, and reliably create positive change with even the most difficult individuals. We work primarily with young people aged 8 to 24 years and families, with additional projects for specific adult cohorts.
