Swanage Dofe Open Award Centre

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Swanage is delivered under the DofE licence of Dorset Council by trained and qualified volunteers. The DofE is all about going the extra mile – gaining new skills, pushing yourself physically, helping others and exploring new territories. At the same time, you’ll gather friendships, experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. If you're aged 13 to 24, there are 3 levels of programme; Bronze, Silver and Gold and you choose the activities that motivate you to go on your own personal journey. The sections that you work towards are volunteering physical skills expedition residential (for Gold DofE participants only). We know from other participants that the DofE helps you stand out from the crowd when you apply for college, university or jobs.
