Physical And Medical Needs Service (PMNS) - Dorset Council

We provide advice, guidance and training to make sure children and young people with physical and medical needs get the right support and can enjoy the same opportunities as their peers. Generally, physical needs are those that affect a child's mobility. Medical needs are wide-ranging, but can include conditions such as: epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, mental health needs. We work with lots of people to make sure children and young people with physical and medical needs can take part in all elements of school or setting, including trips and physical education
