Ducklings Pre-School
Ducklings provide a rich and stimulating learning environment for the children both indoors and outdoors. The children gain independence, resilience and confidence preparing them for a smooth transition to school and beyond. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and our learning is based around the children''s interests and experiences. Our staff are well qualified, experienced and professional. We are a charity pre-school and are run by a committee.

- Ducklings Pre-school aims to make reasonable adjustments to ensure our setting is fully inclusive for all, the setting will wherever possible resource and access equipment to ensure that all children have a full and enriched learning experience at the setting. The SenCo/Manager and key person, alongside other professionals will oversee any plans put in place to support children with SEND which will be reviewed at regular intervals and ensure the child's progress is recorded accurately. We value each child's unique strengths and challenge them to fulfil their learning potential through different activities.¦The setting follows all Policies and Codes of practice as required. All staff are first aid trained and can gain further training to support a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Before a child starts Ducklings they are invited in, to become familiar with their new surroundings. When the child is due to make the transition from our setting to another, our team ensure all documentation is forwarded, liaise with the new setting and go with the child to ensure the child is reassured and well prepared.
