Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer
- Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities
- Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is Kat Frampton, but it is important to note that we place great emphasis on supporting all children and therefore, all seven members of staff are trained in the Role of the Senco. Kat Frampton is a very experienced member of staff who has undertaken a range of courses to support her role, such as Supporting Children with Autism and Speech and Language Development. Kat is currently undertaking a Level 3 qualification in Special Education Needs and Disabilities. ¦¦We have supported children with a range of requirements such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Global Development Delay and Speech and Language. We have also supported children undergoing treatment for cancer and those with other chronic medical conditions. ¦¦We believe partnership working is crucial for supporting children with SEND and work closely with a range of outside services and parents. We are able to support parents through funding applications and referral processes. ¦¦Further information can be found on our website: www.wrensnursery.co.uk/policies
