Welcome to our beautiful grounds and lake at Kingston Maurward Gardens and Animal Park. This family friendly day out is ideal for little ones and it won’t break the bank either! There are so many animals to see including goats, ponies, lots of diverse types of birds, pigs, ducks and Ben and Jerry the two alpacas! The grade 2 listed gardens are fantastic open spaces where little kids (and big ones too) can run free. We have a wonderful range of animals who are waiting to meet you.

We also have The Barn indoor play area (included in main ticket price), open daily 10am to 4pm with the Barn cafe open 10am to 5pm. See our website for all information. If you’re travelling a long distance or poor weather is forecast, it is advisable to call ahead and check. The garden is grade II listed and therefore certain parts of it are inaccessible for visitors with mobility difficulties and those with pushchairs. A map of the gardens will be provided on your arrival at the Visitor Centre which clearly highlights the most appropriate routes to enable you to make the most of your visit and our friendly staff will always be pleased to assist you whenever possible.
