NAFIS is the National Association of Family Information Service - information for families across the UK. The Family and Childcare Trust works with the National Association of Family Information Services (NAFIS), which represents a network of local Family Information Services (FIS) to support families across England, Wales and Scotland. Your local Family Information Service provides FREE up-to-date information on local services available to help you support your children up to their 20th birthday, or 25th if your child has a disability, including early years’ provision. Your Family Information Service is usually located within your local authority/council - and has close links with children's centres, Jobcentre Plus, schools, careers advisers, youth clubs and libraries - so that they can support you better when you need it.
