West Moors Middle School, a local authority school, provides the important middle phase in pupils’ education which sees the necessary transition from being class-based with one teacher for most of their learning, as in the first schools, to specialist teaching by a large number of teachers, as in the upper schools. Facilities include: science laboratories, 3 studios - for music, art and drama, workshops for technology and textiles, a cookery room, an outdoor learning environment and a large sports field.
