Wyke Regis Church of England Junior School is a Local Authority School. We are federated with Wyke Regis Infant School and Nursery and collectively known as Wyke Regis Primary Federation. We are proud of our junior school, immersing our children in Christian and British values. - One classroom within each year group and work rooms located around the school are adapted for pupils who are hearing impaired. Hand rails, ramps and high visibility markings are provided around the school for pupil who are visually impaired.
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer
- Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities
- At our school we work closely with a range of specialist teachers who provide advice, support and guidance for our staff, parents and children. These include: Speech Therapists, Educational Psychologists, The School Health Team, Hearing and Visual Support Service, Occupational Therapists, Social Care and Health Workers, Child and Adolescent, Mental Health Service (CAMHS), Chesil Family Partnership Zone, Behaviour Support Service (BSS) and Bereavement Counsellors. In addition to this, we also provide in house support for our families and their children and an ASD support group for parents which runs regularly throughout the year.
