Reach - The Association For Children With Upper Limb Deficiency
There are many types of upper limb deficiency, Reach aims to provide resources, support and practical advice and information, whatever our families tell us they need. Some children in Reach are missing all or part of an arm, others have partial hands or possible malformed or missing fingers or thumb, others a muscle weakness. Some may also have lower limb deficiencies or other conditions. We see the potential in all Reach children and celebrate their ability, never focusing on disability. We recognise that different families want different levels of support, and we tailor our approach to suit them. We share success stories, to show families just how much our incredible children are capable of. Connecting families is a vital part of Reach’s work and the bonds this creates is priceless. Reach provides the means by which parents and professionals can bring together experiences, information, support and guidance.
