Avon Heath Country Park is Dorset's largest country park, accessible to families and people with a wide range of abilities and interests. Miles of marked trails provide an opportunity to explore the acres of unspoilt heathland and wooded areas, while experiencing some of the unique and rare wildlife. Explore our sensory trail which provides a wide range of accessible play features for children and families, with the sound of drumming and chimes heard across the green! The play area also features a zip wire, climbing wall, sand pit, tree house, giant insect climbing sculptures, trampoline and much more. Other things you can do are cycling, have a picnic, go orienteering, feed a lizard, hire a BBQ and talk to our Rangers.
