North Dorset Turbos Swimming Club
The club was established in 2003 by former Head Coach Chris Gassmann and others to provide opportunities for competitive swimmers in the Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Sturminster Newton and Mere areas to meet and train. Our members are aged between 9 and 18 years old and have achieved Level 8 of Learn to Swim.

Weekday - Additional Information
- We usually take swimmers who are 9 or older and who have completed at least Level 8 Learn to Swim lessons – or equivalent. If your swimmer is keen to take their swimming to the next level and would like to compete with other swimmers in the region, please email our Head Coach in the first instance to discuss your swimmer’s suitability for a free trial (Rich Brocklehurst – headcoachndt@gmail.com ). Your swimmer may be invited for a second free trial, after which they could be offered a place in one of our squads.
