Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer
- Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities
- All the children are supported and given learning opportunities to develop at a pace that is suitable for them. We have an informal chat on collection of your child. However if it is deemed necessary to discuss your child’s wellbeing and development we can meet formally. Every child in my care is treated as an individual, therefore their personal needs will be taken care of. An assessment will be carried out prior to a child starting in my setting taking into account their needs. This will enable me to establish how their needs will be met ensuring all the children will be kept safe. I am happy to work with all outside agencies that are deemed necessary. My setting is easily accessible, with a ramp to the front door and the downstairs rooms have wheelchair access, allowing a degree of independence when your child is ready. Your child will have access to all the resources (age and stage depending) with the other children. The more that you are involved the better the outcome will be for your child. An open and honest dialogue between us in the care of your child is vital. Together we will ensure that your child has the best opportunities to enable them to learn and develop at their pace to their full potential.
