Weymouth Drama Club - Curtain Raisers
We have a lively junior membership for 7 to 18 year olds and can cater for young people with additional needs, with notice. The membership is divided into different age groups, with each group having their own session. We offer weekly drama sessions, purely for fun, which help to raise self esteem and confidence. Our main aims are stated below: • Developing talent • Enjoying theatre • Enriching lives • Embracing individuality • Creating opportunities for young people. There are opportunities to take part in youth theatre and adult productions, skills workshops, including technical skills, festivals, most notably the National Theatre Connections project organised by the National Theatre, end of term showcases and theatre trips.
