Accessibility
- Wheelchair accessible
- The Pink House has a side gate entrance that can be used for wheelchair and pushchair access. A ramp would be required and provided if wheelchair access is needed to the house.
- Parking availability information
- There is plenty of road parking outside The Pink House but during school drop off and collection times the spaces become limited. There is a drive way with space for 2-3 spaces if you wish to use it.
- Toilet facility information
- The family bathroom with toilet is on the ground floor but the house is elevated so a ramp will be required to access the house.
- Other Facilities
- All of the learning resources and play equipment can be used outside to make it accessible for all children. There are quiet spaces with bean bags as well as sensory areas of the garden. The house and garden will be regularly reviewed and updated to individual needs.
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer
- Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities
The Pink House has a level garden that is wheelchair and pushchair accessible through a wide gate at the side of the house. I was the deputy manager of a lovely nature nursery where I was also the SEND co-coordinator. I have been on a variety of courses and plan to continue my personal development and knowledge through future training. If there is an educational, behavioural or medical condition that your child has I will ensure that I gain the most understanding possible and I also invite parents to meet with me to talk about any concerns they may have.
