Little Acorns
Little Acorns is led by an enthusiastic and experienced team. All staff have relevant childcare qualifications. Set in the gorgeous village of Evershot – with our base at the village hall. We operate a free-flow system whenever possible where the children can choose to be either inside or outside playing. We go outside in all weathers. Parents/carers are encouraged to bring children equipped for getting messy so that the children can become fully engaged in their play. We aim to have access to the outdoors all year round and hope that most of the children’s learning can take place in our garden and the surrounding beautiful countryside that we have on our doorstep. Our daily sessions always include lots of singing, nursery rhymes, role-play and messy play. We also run forest school sessions with the neighbouring school, joining in with their reception class and forging excellent links for a smooth transition to school.

- In Summer Term we offer swimming at the outdoor pool at Stickland's School. We have weekly forest school sessions with Sticklnads School. We do have an equal opportunities policy, and Little Acorns welcomes all children.

- Little Acorns has an experienced team, The SENCO is a qualified Level 3 SEN- Coordinator and the Deputy SENCO is very experienced. We have supported children with speech and language difficulties, complex illness, hearing and visual impairments. We will do anything we can to make sure we provide for each child''s individual needs. We will do this by quickly identifying the need for intervention and then acting swiftly and appropriately to make sure the child gets the support they are entitled to.
