The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Gillingham, Dorset is delivered under the DofE licence of Dorset Council by Gillingham Open Award Centre (OAC) and delivered by volunteers. The DofE is all about going the extra mile – gaining new skills, pushing yourself physically, helping others and exploring new territories. At the same time, you’ll gather friendships, experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. If you're aged 14 to 24, there are 3 levels of programme; Bronze, Silver and Gold and you choose the activities that motivate you to go on your own personal journey. The sections that you work towards are •Volunteering
•Physical •Skills •Expedition •Residential (for Gold DofE participants only).

- The DofE Award is for young people. The group meets term time on a Tuesday and arranges various expedition events.
