Mini Munchkins Day Nursery
Mini Munchkins is a small nursery and afterschool club. We take children from 18 Months and are open 8am to 6pm term time only. We except 2, 3 and 4 year old funding, funded hours can be taken between the hours of 8am to 6pm. Additional hours will be charged at our hourly rate. We are lucky to be situated on the recreation ground so have use of the play park and green space daily as part of our routine.

Mini Munchkins has a nursery SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) that has been trained through the Local Authority to support the key person, child and families to ensure that the child’s individual needs are met. We have a system in place where each child is allocated a key person. The key person completes regular observations which are then used to inform the child’s planning around their needs and interests. The key person completes assessments on every child to identify any support that may be required. We have policies and procedures in place which are regularly reviewed to ensure that our resources, environment and layout are suitable and accessible to all. The manager, key person and SENDCo will work together with the parents to make suitable changes where possible. Parent’s communication is valued and the key person will work together with the parents to ensure that every child’s learning is supported.
