Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer
- Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities
As a SENCo in my setting, I have regards to the Special Education Needs Code of Practice 2015. As part of my daily practice I collate observations and assessments to ensure that I plan a differentiated curriculum for every child. I work in partnership with parents as partners in their child's learning. Early identification is key and if this raises concerns I will adopt SEN support with includes Assess, Plan, Do, Review. Individual plans will be put into place to ensure that I am working on areas that your child needs support in. I will work with specialist services with your permission to ensure that your child meets their full potential. I have attended a full and relevant SENCo course and keep myself updated with changes that occur in SEND. At my setting I provide an inclusion environment where all children have the opportunity to thrive. I have experience with children with all different additional needs.
