- There are two local Macmillan-funded services; one based at Bournemouth and Poole and the other managed from Dorchester covering the rest of the Dorset county where we have four advisers working in Dorchester, Weymouth, Wimborne and Sherborne. These services are provided by a team of highly-skilled and experienced advisers who provide significant support to people at a very difficult time in their lives. There are significant financial outcomes (benefits and grants awarded), and the wider impact of the support on the lives of patients and their families is also very important.
- Referral information
- Referrals are accepted from health professionals or direct from the client. On receipt of a referral an adviser will contact the client as soon as possible to arrange a mutually convenient time and place for an appointment.
