Blandford School Of Dance

Previously known as Janet Knight School of Dancing, Blandford School of Dance currently runs classes every day of the week from a purpose built dance studio in Blandford. Classes cover tuition in ballet, tap, modern, musical theatre and various adult classes as well as private lessons. Alongside our timetabled classes, we regularly provide performance opportunities through end-of-term shows and external events and productions. Our own school shows are usually performed at a local Professional venue, giving students the opportunity to perform on a 'real' stage and experience the buzz of live theatre!

We also run nursery and pre-school classes as a stepping stone between parent and toddler classes, and the more formal ballet examination syllabuses. These classes focus on creative movement, use of props and imagery to progress a child's interest and enjoyment in the various styles of dance and performance.
