Dorset Youth Symphony Orchestra

The Dorset Youth Symphony Orchestra (DYSO) is an intermediate level symphony orchestra led by experienced orchestral specialists and DMS team members Johnathan Randall and Dianne Ely. DYSO (formerly Dorset Youth Orchestra) was formed over 50 years ago, to give orchestra coaching and performance opportunities to young musicians across the Dorset area. Aimed at musicians of grade 3 and above, the group offers high-quality orchestral coaching, explores interesting and accessible works and provides opportunities to work with high calibre professionals and take part in large-scale performances.
