Bradpole Pre-School
We are housed in a bright, warm, safe classroom, adapted for young children. We have free flow play into our safe enclosed garden. We provide a safe and stimulating free flow environment where children are motivated to explore and investigate, children are involved and encouraged to grow and develop at their own pace by learning through play based activities, and where their learning experience is tailored to meet their individual needs.

£13.75 per Session - Cost variations
- We offer a Lunch Club which can be used within your free entitlement or costs £5.50 - we do not provide lunch for the children. If you use more than your funding hours entitlement we charge £5.50 per hour over.
- Additional Information
Parents can use their early education entitlement at any time during our opening hours. We run a Breakfast Club from 8am to 9am and provide cereal, toast, fruit and a drink of milk or water. We offer a Lunch Club between 11.30am to 12.30pm and we provide an After School Club for those parents who need to pick up later than 3pm, it runs from 3pm to 4pm.

Bradpole Pre-school is a committee run charity made up of parents and carers. Parent, carers and keyworkers work together to observe, assess, and plan for a child's learning and development and parents are invited into the setting termly to review their child's progress. When starting Pre-school every child and their family is assigned a main key worker who works as part of a team of keyworkers (so there is always a key worker on every session) to support your child and share information about their development with you. All keyworker senior staff are qualified to National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 or above and all other keyworkers are qualified to NVQ Level 3. The Pre-school Leader has a degree in Early Years Childcare and Education and The Pre-school SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) is familiar with the SEN Code of Practice and is trained to NVQ Level 4 and regularly attends SENCO refresher training including letters and sounds, behaviour management and other focused training for special educational needs. The SENCO will support keyworkers with planning and monitoring records and is available to talk with parents about their child's progress at any time. The SENCO also liaises with outside agencies, such as portage, speech and language and the inclusion team. All staff regularly attend training on communication, language, autism, and behaviour management. Keyworkers track the child's development, review their progress and share observations, photos and news with parents after sessions and at termly progress meetings. Bradpole Pre-school is fully wheelchair and buggy accessible. We have child sized toilets and sinks, and a nappy changing area. The school we are situated in has an accessibility toilet. The Pre-school layout is especially designed to be accessible and open but with quiet areas available. The Pre-school has a large well laid out and resourced outside area, with growing boxes, apple trees, large sandpit, gravelled water play area and wooden play house. There are low benches for reading and chatting, balance and stepping logs, and lots of small world resources.
