Support for children and young people with SEN and disabilities

As a school we identify children with SEND and aim to provide them with the support they need to access all aspects of school life with as much success as possible. We often have the skills within our school staff to identify and implement the most appropriate form of support, which may be an intervention group, increased TA support or practical resources. The range of support we currently provide in school, if and when needed, includes dyslexic teaching, 1:1 support, visual clue cards, personalised reward systems, speech and language support, nurture and emotional support plus literacy and numeracy interventions. When a child has a more specific need we seek additional advice and guidance from a range of outside agencies, including Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Services, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Behaviour Support Services.

See our school's SEND policy and supporting information.
Some activities and family support services listed in our directory may be cancelled, postponed, or running in a different way due to coronavirus restrictions. Please contact providers to check for information about any changes.
